Scott is the firm's Principal, Founder, and Senior Wealth Advisor. In addition to overseeing the firm's operations, he takes a hands-on approach by managing all client relationships. Scott defines his role as follows: "To envision and lead the company's mission, relentlessly striving to deliver maximum value in every possible way to all those we are privileged to serve."
Scott holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Malone University and is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative of Affinity Wealth. He also possesses the Ohio Life & Health insurance license and is an Ohio licensed Mortgage Loan Officer.
His journey in the financial industry began in 2003 through an internship program at Northwestern Mutual, where he quickly rose to become one of the top three interns nationwide. By January 2004, he transitioned into a full-time advisor and went on to achieve the distinction of being the second-ranked first-year advisor in the country. Over the subsequent five years, Scott built his client base exclusively through referrals, establishing a network of specialized professionals, offering value-added services, and developing a unique perspective on the comprehensive value an advisor can bring to one's life. These insights culminated in the founding of his own firm in March 2009.
Scott collaborates with a network of professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, bankers, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents, to realize the Total Wealth Management concept under the banner of "The Affinity Group." The firm operates with a fiduciary commitment, exclusively serving the best interests of clients without external affiliations or conflicts of interest.
Outside the professional sphere, Scott and his wife Automn reside in the quaint town of Hartville, Ohio, along with their daughter Cydni, son Cale, and their Golden-Doodle companion, Dash. Together, they cherish the opportunity to travel and create meaningful experiences with friends and family.
