Robert (Bob) Forker, CLU founded The Forker Company in 1949 after graduating from Columbia University and completing service in the Army Air Corps. Current President, Frank Dosch, CLU, ChFC, joined The Forker Company in 1979. As Bob prepared for retirement, he looked to Frank to continue what he had started. In 1988, Frank purchased The Forker Company from Bob. Today, Frank credits Bob with being his mentor and role model. Both Forker and Dosch recognized how the business continues to change over time, and how to react to it. The one constant is that this still is, and will continue to be, a people-business. In a high-tech world, we are very “high-touch!”
