The Affinity Groups financial planning process is documented below to demonstrate the powerful effect it can have on empowering clients to manage their finances. 1 - Data Gathering In the beginning, a large amount of "data gathering" is conducted in order to construct your plan. This is a process of gathering all of the facts and figures of your accounts, assets, and property, as well as learning about your goals, vision, and financial objectives. 2 - Meetings with our Specialists Once all of the needed information is gathered, we will proceed to a “specialist meeting” in our office. Here we bring in outside professionals such as a CPA, Estate Planning Attorney, or Debt Specialist to give you a second opinion on what you are currently doing in each of these areas as well as strategies or ideas to consider. View our Specialists Page for more information. 3 - Financial Plan Delivery As the name implies, the delivery meeting is the culmination of the planning process, where the client is presented with their complete financial plan and personalized recommendation pages which outline the highlights and actions needed from the financial plan, and finally the client’s personal wealth management website (known as "eMoney") is unveiled. 4 - Review and Monitoring Scott meets with all of our financial planning clients at least two times per year in order to monitor the progress of the recommendations and to make adjustments based upon the client’s changing circumstances.
